Albert J. Brunett senior of counsel is a registered patent attorney of Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner P.A.  His practice is directed to patent portfolio reviews, valuations and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, patent purchasing and selling in the majority of high tech areas.  Al received his B.S.M.E. in 1979 from the University of Notre Dame, his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1984 and his M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University in 1995.  With over 22 years of experience in patent prosecution, litigation, licensing and patent valuations in corporate and private and as a consultant Al brings a rather diversified background and unique experience to the firm.  Prior to joining SLW, Al was a senior attorney at Intel where he was responsible for patent reviews and valuations for outside submissions, mergers and acquisitions and patents of interest located from extensive searching.  Al's engineering work experience includes installing long distance telephone switching systems for Rockwell as well as the design of video recorders and cameras for Zenith.  Al is admitted to practice in Illinois and has recently opened a satellite office in Cambridge, MA.
