Barbara J. Clark is an Officer and registered patent attorney with expertise in chemical engineering, chemical patent law and mechanical patent law, having particular experience drafting and prosecuting patents for chemical engineering processes, food products, thermomechanical/electrochemical devices and coatings. Barbara received a B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan State University. She thereafter worked as a research engineer at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria, Illinois. Barbara received her law degree from Loyola University of Chicago and thereafter worked as a general practitioner with a small Iowa law firm. Barbara is a resident of Ames, Iowa. She is admitted to the United States District Court, Southern District of Iowa Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Barbara is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Iowa State Bar Association, where she was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Section Council for the term June 2002-2005.
