David W. Black is a registered patent attorney practicing in the areas of analog and digital electronics. David received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota (B.S. 1984) He graduated from William Mitchell College of Law, cum laude (J.D., May, 1999). He came to Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner P.A., from a law clerk position with Palmatier, Sjoquist, Helget and Voigt, P.A., a patent law firm in Minneapolis. Prior to entering law school, David designed low voltage analog amplifiers for use in hearing aids with Telex Communications, Inc., as well as a smaller hearing aid manufacturer. David is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association.
