Garth Vivier is a registered patent attorney and shareholder of Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner.  His experience extends to patent protection for electronic circuits, computer architecture, hard drives, software, communications networks, digital audio and business methods as well as patent portfolio development and management, IP due diligence, product clearance, and validity and infringement analysis and opinions.  Garth's experience also extends to international patent protection particularly via the European Patent Office (EPO) and the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).  Prior to joining SLW, Garth was a partner at a large California patent prosecution law firm and has practiced in the field of patent law since 1992 prosecuting patents in most major countries around the globe.  Before entering the patent profession, Garth worked as an engineer designing missile guidance systems.
