Gregory W. Smock is an associate focusing on patent prosecution in various technology areas, including mechanical and electro-mechanical arts. Greg received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University in 2002 (B.S., Highest Distinction) with a minor in Business Administration. While at North Dakota State University, he was involved in a number of engineering societies, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and was a 3M Engineering Scholar Recipient. During his undergraduate studies Greg worked at 3M in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
In 2005, Greg received his law degree from the University of Minnesota, where he focused his studies on intellectual property law. Prior to joining SLW, he worked as a law clerk at Barna, Guzy, & Steffen, Ltd. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Bar Association.
