Joseph P. Mehrle is a registered patent attorney practicing in software, electronic, and mechanical applications, prosecution, licensing, and related opinions. He received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Ohio State University (B.S. 1988) and graduated from Chase College of Law (J.D. Northern Kentucky University 1995). Joe holds a patent for a software invention related to automatic text classification and indexing. He was a software developer for over 9 years and managed a group of software developers for an additional 3 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, and was appointed to serve on the Board of Governors for the Intellectual Property Law Subsection of the Ohio State Bar Association in 2000. Joe is admitted to the Patent Bar, the Ohio Bar, the U.S.D.C. for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
