Patti J. Jurkovich is a registered patent attorney practicing in the areas of biotechnology, food products, veterinary food and health products, agricultural biotechnology, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical treatments, diagnostics and chemistry patent prosecution. Patti received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota (B.S. 1988) and her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law (1997, cum laude). Patti has experience in both academic and corporate research settings, with an emphasis on the development of vaccines and clinical detection methods, as well as the development of affinity chromatography supports for biopharmaceutical product purification. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Association of University Technology Managers, and Minnesota Women Lawyers.
