Randy L. Canis is a registered patent attorney practicing in electronics, computer hardware and software, and business method patents. He received his undergraduate degree in computer science from the University of Missouri-Rolla (B.S.C.S., 1997). He received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia (J.D., 1999) and is admitted to practice in Missouri. He is not licensed to practice in Minnesota. He is also an adjunct professor, teaching "Patent Law" and "Intellectual Property for Computer Scientists" courses at the University of Missouri-Rolla (2000-current).
