No Litigators Allowed! Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner is, however, looking for qualified patent prosecution attorneys. SLW has found that litigation can be distracting when trying to provide the best possible patent protection for its clients, so they've built a firm where patent prosecution is the primary focus.
SLW has world-class clients and career opportunities to match. If you need other reasons to join the club, here are a few: room for growth, a dynamic workplace, family-friendly hours, and a casual environment. SLW is an environment that fosters creativity and an incentive to work hard and have fun.
Current Opportunities
SLW currently has a great demand for patent attorneys with at least one to three years of strong prosecution experience, and have a technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering or an advanced degree in a biotech field. Helpful, but not necessary, is a previous career in an engineering capacity.
SLW pays very competitive salaries on a national level, and also provides incentive-based bonuses. In addition, SLW stresses a collegial, laid-back atmosphere. That's why SLW was nominated by City Business as one of Minnesota's top "Great Places to Work" in 2000.
