• SLW has been recognized by IP Today magazine as the second leading intellectual property law firm based on the Law Firm Patent Scorecard(TM) created by the Patent Board.
• Steve Lundberg was named by Twin Cities Business as one of 200 Minnesotans You Should Know.
• Monique Perdok has been recognized as a 2010 Up and Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. 
• Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner has been ranked by Intellectual Asset Management magazine (www.iam-magazine.com) in the top 10 list of US law firms which secure the most valuable patents overall and in the top 10 law firm who obtain the most valuable patents in Information Technology..
• Mark Muller, a shareholder at SLW, has been appointed the Chair-Elect of the Clean Tech Committee for the High Technology Section of the Licensing Executives Society.

• SLW is happy to announce that Marv Beekman is our newest shareholder, effective October 1, 2009. 
• Warren Woessner was appointed by the incoming AIPLA President, Alan Kasper, to the Professionalism and Ethics Committee.  Warren will serve for a three-year term expiring in October of 2012.
• In October 2009 Managing IP listed the patent firms filing the most PCT applications in the 14 biggest markets.  SLW was ranked #5 in the United States with 437 PCT filings.
• September 30, 2009 was the five year anniversary of our Silicon Valley office. They have grown from 2 attorneys to 16 attorneys and are still growing.  The San Jose office is one of the fastest growing IP law firms in Silicon Valley.
• In August 2009 SLW was named a Best Place to Work by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.  This is the second time SLW has received this award.
