Named by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as one of 2009’s Best Places To Work is an honor but not a surprise. Since 1993 SLW has endeavored to find the best people and then to keep them by treating them with respect and giving them the opportunity to grow in their job. Vicky Hawes is the Executive Director of SLW and has been with the firm almost since day one.

She is always looking for new ways to make SLW a better place whether it is with unusual twists on traditional benefits (such as no limit on sick days), surprise benefits (such as “It’s the first nice day after a long winter so take half a day off and go enjoy the weather) or off-the-wall benefits (such as a Wii game room, a ping-pong table, or shorts being okay to wear in the summer).
