Tony received a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, also from the University of Minnesota. He worked several years for a Minneapolis company, Graco, Inc., in new product design and development. Tony was employed in technology transfer at the University of Minnesota for 22 years and directed the technology transfer office there for 7 years. The University of Minnesota consistently ranked among the leading technology transfer offices nationwide. Tony's experience includes technology and intellectual property evaluation and valuation, intellectual property portfolio management, technology marketing, license negotiation, license enforcement, research agreements, joint development agreements, and other intellectual property related agreements. He is a member of the Association of University Technology Managers and the Licensing Executives Society. Tony is a registered attorney in Minnesota.
