Geoffrey Cooper is a registered patent attorney practicing in pharmaceuticals, organic chemistry, and biotechnology. He received a B.Sc. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Oregon, and a J.D. from the University of Oregon. After postdoctoral work on medicinal chemistry with Prof. Henry Rapoport at Berkeley, he spent over twenty years as a senior level researcher in organic chemistry with major corporations including ITT, Arco, and Zeneca before attending law school.
