Gregory W. Smock is a registered patent attorney and an associate of Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. He has patent experience in various technology areas, including medical devices, drug delivery systems, building construction technology, and other mechanical and electro-mechanical arts. Greg works with independent inventors and small businesses, as well as large companies and universities, on issues of patentability, patent infringement and strategic counseling. Greg received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University in 2002 (B.S., Highest Distinction) with a minor in Business Administration. While at North Dakota State University, he was involved in a number of engineering societies, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was a 3M Engineering Scholar Recipient. During his undergraduate studies, Greg worked at 3M in St. Paul. In 2005, Greg received his law degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Bar Association. Greg has recently been recognized as a Rising Star by Minnesota Law and Politics.
