Myung-Gon Hong is a registered patent attorney at Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. His practice includes patent procurement in the computer involving technologies including computer hardware, software, business methods, medical devices and other digital entertainment systems, such as game software and hardware. His practice also includes semiconductor technologies. Before joining the firm, Myung had worked for the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) as a patent examiner for nearly 6 years. There, he examined patent applications in the area of educational apparatus including simulation systems, electric books, the Internet-based educational systems and methods, and occasionally in the area of voice analysis/synthesis, etc. Myung also participated in developing the KIPO's electronic filing & administration system (KIPONET) and knowledge management system (intranet). Myung received his Juris Doctor from Hamline School of Law, and his Bachelor of Computer Science from Seoul National University.
