Robert Crist is a registered patent attorney and associate of SLW. He has patent experience in various technology areas, including chemical processing, computer memory, computer software, semiconductor device design and fabrication, and medical devices. His practice includes patent procurement, patent prosecution, patentability, technical analysis, and strategic counseling.
Robert received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University in 2006 (B.S., with honors). While at Clemson University, he was involved with the National Engineering Honor Society Tau Beta Pi and worked at Michelin and General Electric. After earning his undergraduate degree, Robert worked as a gas turbine design engineer for General Electric (2006-2007). Robert earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota (J.D., 2010). Prior to joining SLW, Robert worked as an associate at a Minneapolis patent prosecution firm working on patent preparation and prosecution relating to various technologies.
