Edward is a registered patent attorney with experience in electrical, software, mechanical, computer, and biomedical technologies. His practice includes prosecution, portfolio management and landscape analysis, freedom to operate, opinion, patent acquisition, valuation, due diligence, and post-grant proceedings. Previously, Edward was employed at Opto-Electronic Design, Inc. as a research and design engineer in the area of electrical and optical devices, where he reverse engineered electrical and optical sensors for patent infringement investigations, identified infringement targets, and assisted in patent searches and infringement opinions. Edward received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where he held concurrent research positions at the Biomedical Micro and Nano Systems and Biomedical Engineering Research Laboratories, and received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.
