Kyle Way is a registered patent attorney focused on patent prosecution in various technology areas, including electronics, computer systems, medical devices, software, and communications. Prior to joining Schwegman, Kyle was of counsel at the Denver office of a large Midwest-based general legal firm. Earlier, Kyle was a partner of a small patent firm and worked as an associate for both a large general legal firm and a small intellectual property firm, in addition to being an in-house attorney and patent agent for two California-based technology companies. Prior to his legal career, Kyle worked for 15 years as an electrical design engineer, concentrating on the development of magnetic and optical data storage products, as well as document scanners. Kyle is also a registered professional engineer in Colorado.
