SLW’s trademark team has collectively been involved in scores of TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings and work routinely with local counsel on comparable proceedings worldwide. We have expertise in counseling clients on potential infringements or violations of their rights as well as defense of rights, including by sending and responding to demand letters, negotiating resolutions, and drafting settlement and coexistence agreements. While SLW does not directly handle federal or state litigation, our trademark group has significant litigation experience and works closely with litigation counsel on such proceedings.
