Overview

AJ’s practice focuses on both domestic and international patent prosecution for mechanical and building-system technologies. AJ assists with preparing and prosecuting patent applications relating to mechanical devices, integrated systems, and infrastructure-related innovations. She also enjoys assisting clients with patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.

AJ received her J.D. from Campbell University. Prior to law school, AJ earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Architecture from Tulane University. She also worked as both a licensed architect and a licensed structural engineer on large-scale projects, including K–12 educational facilities and airports.

In her spare time, AJ enjoys scuba diving and needlepoint. AJ is not yet registered to practice before the USPTO.
