Overview

Mark R. Vatuone is a registered patent attorney practicing electronic commerce, network, and computer software patent prosecution. Mark received his B.S. in computer science from Coleman College, his B.S. in biological science from San Diego State University, his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, (J.D., cum laude, 1998) and his LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice from McGeorge School of Law. From 1984-1994 he worked as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and an Engineering Group Manager for StrataCom, Inc., now acquired by Cisco Systems and maker of a wide area network system that utilized fast packet switching to provide voice and data services. Before joining Schwegman, Mark worked as a patent attorney for Blakely, Sokoloff, Taylor and Zafman, a Silicon Valley intellectual property law firm and is a member of the California State Bar.
