NIL, which stands for Name, Image, and Likeness, refers to the ability of athletes to profit off themselves and represents one of the most significant changes to high school and college athletics.  In the short time since its inception in 2021, NIL has rapidly transformed the landscape of college sports. This presentation will discuss the background of NIL and focus on what brand owners should know and be prepared for when marketing their brands in the age of NIL.
