Brionna earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Howard University, with a concentration in Cybersecurity. During her time in school, she worked as an Associate at Lord & Taylor — where her love for fashion developed. Upon graduating, she started her career as a Cybersecurity Engineer. She eventually found herself drawn to product management and cross-functional collaboration, particularly where those areas touched on the management and legal side of cybersecurity. That curiosity led her to Northwestern University, where she pursued a Master of Science in Law — a program built for those who sit at the intersection of Law, Business, and Technology.
Brionna gained exposure to the business side of security after interning on the Information Security Team at Apple, which inspired her to officially make the leap into product management. This led her to take on a role as an Application Manager at Meta Platforms, Inc., where she managed a variety of security applications and vendor relationships. While working at Meta, Brionna decided to complete her legal studies by enrolling in the Juris Doctor program at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. As the program was geared toward those interested in STEM and law, Brionna quickly found an overlapping interest in technology and law through patent law. She eventually transitioned to Qualcomm, where she gained her first experience in the legal space as a Summer Associate in the Patent Department, developing knowledge of in-house counsel operations and semiconductor technologies.
In 2025, she joined Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner as a Law Clerk before stepping into her current role as an Attorney — where she brings together her love of fashion, technology, and law in the patent field.
