Mr. John D. Magluyan began his career as a software developer for a global IT company and transitioned to the patent department of that company during law school. His exposure to the company’s various technologies, and their tie-in to business objectives confirmed his decision to switch from developing software to protecting innovation.
With over 20 years of experience as a patent attorney, John is well equipped to counsel and advise on a broad range of intellectual property matters. He regularly assists his clients through the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He is also well-versed in rendering opinions concerning infringement and validity of patents, pre-litigation analysis, and investor due diligence.
John represents clients in various fields, including artificial intelligence, internet technologies, cloud and network computing, image processing, operating systems, navigation systems, and medical devices.
