Overview

Oggie Beremski is an intellectual property attorney with in-house and law firm experience. He has practiced in the following areas:

  • Patent procurement (including preparation and prosecution) as well as client counseling related to smart devices, cellular/wireless networks and mobile device infrastructures.  Representative technologies include artificial intelligence and machine learning, cellular connectivity, 802.11x, Bluetooth, base OS, mobile device applications,   device   storage/memory   management,   cloud   computing,   cloud   storage,   software development   tools, search engines,   server-side   functionalities,   digital   personal   assistants,   audio/video   codec implementations, and processor design.
  • Harvesting, analyzing, and evaluating invention disclosures.  Advising clients on strategic IP procurement, including strategic continuation and divisional practice to assist with global filing strategy, licensing or litigation resolution.
  • IP opinion practice related to freedom to operate, validity and infringement.
  • IP due diligence practice associated with US and offshore corporate acquisitions and restructuring.
