Overview

Nathan is a registered patent attorney at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner. His practice includes strategic counseling and patent procurement in electrical, software, mechanical, and medical device technologies. Previously, Nathan held positions at a small patent boutique firm in Minneapolis; as a patent clerk reporting directly to the Chief and Deputy Patent Counsels; and as an Assistant Scientist in the Department of Dermatology at a large university.

Nathan received his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law where he served as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and a B.S. in both Neuroscience and Physiology at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

This breadth of experience provides Nathan with a unique perspective on all aspects of the patent process, from invention to product utilization; and Nathan enjoys putting this to practice in working towards clients’ patent procurement and management needs.
